I am Mr.Vincent Bakpo, the Manager of the Consignment/Treasury Department of
a Security and Finance Company in Lome-Togo having offshore payment centers

Recently, we discovered a dormant consignment with a substantial amount of

I was able to obtain the presents today. I won't tell you what exactly I got

For the security company official I got:

Thanks a lot for your commitment to meeting me in the airport. Please send
me your picture where you wear exactly what you'll be wearing in the

Do you really think that getting an aprtment in Lome is the best option ?
I'm only coming for a week and the hotel may be a better idea. But of
course, if you know the apartments that I can rent short term and that
provide exceptional level of comfort, I'm happy with it too. Just keep in
mind that I'm a very demanding traveller and my secretary knows all the
little perks that I require from an accomodation. For example, she always
arranges with the hotel that there's a bottle of champagne and fdlowers in
the room when I arrive. If you want me to stay in the apartments, would you
be able to arrange that too ?
It's a great idea that you will be travelling with me to US. Would you like
me to get you a ticket too ? This way we can fly back together.
We can also go to US consulate together and get you a visa. With the money
we'll get from this transaction we will definitely have fun here !

I'm surprised by your message. You're telling me that you're very serious

What kind of hotel is it ? Does it have a website ?
Where can I check on this hotel? I need to be sure that it's an exceptional
hotel and it is located in the nice neighborhood.
$500 a day is quite a lot even by american standards. I don't mind paying
for a great service, but I need to be sure about the hotel.
Can you do me a favor - please send me the photos os this hotel taken
recently. If you can't send me the photos - no problem, but then I'll check
into teh hotel that my travel assistant will reserver for me.
I'm flying out tomorrow. I will check my mail tomorrow morning, if the
photos of that apartments and (most importantly) surrounding neighborhood
are not in my mailbox, I'm sorry but I'll reserve a room in the hotel that
my travel assistant recommends. You can call the owners of that
hotel/apartment complex and say that if they urgently send the photos I
require to my e-mail address, they will have a customer who will their best
suite for $500 a night for the whole next week. Just tell them these exact
words and I'm sure they will have no problems sending me the photos
Also, it is imperative that I can see your picture before I fly out

Let's not make a fight about this. If you can't get the photos of that place
- no problem. I'll instruct my assistant tomorrow to reserve me a room in
the hotel and we will rent that apartment immediately after we clear the
consignment just to deliver cash there and split it. This is not a problem -
beleive me. Besides we will save some money since we will only require the
cheapest unit in that apartment complex, not the expensive $500 one. And we
will only need it for one night, not the whole 7 days.
But I urge you to send me the picture of yourself if you're going to meet me
in the airport, because I need to be able to recognize you. As for me - I
will be wearing blue shorts and a t-shirt that says "Limp Bizkit" (this is

2. THERE WAS A MAN SITTING NEXT TO ME ON THE PLANE TO ADDIS ABABA WHO WAS
BLACK AND WHO WAS VERY INTERESTED IN LEARNING MY PLANS. HE KEPT ON ASKING ME
WHERE I'M GOING TO AND WHEN HE HAD LEARNED I'M GOING TO TOGO HE STARTED
ASKING STRANGE QUESTIONS ABOUT MY PLANS.
3. WHN I WENT TO INTERNET CAFE IN ADDIS ABABA YESTERDAY ALL CUSTOMERS ANDF
THE MANAGER OF THE CAFE GAVE ME A VERY STRANGE LOOK AND PRETENDED THEY
DIDN'T UNDERSTAND ME WHEN I ASKED FOR THEIR PHONE NUMBER. WHEN I ASKED ONE
GUY HOW TO CALL TOGO HE FLATLY REFUSED AND PRETENDED HE DOESN'T UNDERSTAND
ME. HE WAS BROWSING ENGLISH WEBSITES I SAW THAT BUT HE SAID "ENGLISH NOT
UNDERSTAND".
4. THERE WAS A WHITE GUY NEAR THE AMERICAN MISSION WHO ASKED ME WHAT WAS I
DOING IN ETHIOPIA. I DIN'T TELL HIM ANYTHING BECAUSE I WAS ALREADY
SUSPICIOUS.
5. THE AMERICAN MISSION EMPLOYEE WHO I SPOKE WITH (JERRY SEINFIELD WAS HIS
NAME) STARTED ASKING ME ALL KINDS OF NOSY QUESTIONS ABOUT THE PURPOSE OF MY
TRAVEL TO AFRICA. SINCE I WAS VERY DEPRESSED WHEN I TALKED TO HIM I TOLD HIM
THAT I'M TRAVELLING ON BUSINESS AND PLAN TO MAKE A HUGE PROFIT AND THAT IF
IT HADNT BEEN FOR THAT I WOULD NEVER EVER GO HERE. AND HE BECAME VERY
SUSPICIOS AND GAVE ME A STRANGE LOOK. HE REPEATEDLY ASKED ME WHETHER I WAS
GOING TO TOGO OR NIGERIA. I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY HE BROUGHT UP NIGERIA.
I THINK THAT MY TRAVEL AGENT WAS BRIBED AND THAT'S WHY SHE DID THIS TO ME.
AND THAT THE PEOPLE IN THE CAFE KNEW THAT I WAS COMING AND THE WERE READFY
TO BLOCK MY ACCESS TO YOU AND NOT LET ME CALL YOU OR LET YOU CALL ME. AND
THE PEOPLE IN THE AMERICAN MISSION ARE SOMEHOW IN IT TOO.
I THINK THAT THERE'S ANOTHER ORGANIZATION OR MAFIA THAT WANTS TO HAVE OUR
MONEY AND THAT'S WHY I WANT YOU TO BE VERY CAREFUL AND CAUTIOUS IN THE
AIRPORT. DON'T TRUST ANYONE, COME BY YOURSELF AND WATCH YOUR BACK.

5:45am just like you instructed me and went outside the hotel with all my
