A work in progress: names from letters passed on to Scamorama. While some names belong to real people (there really is an Abacha family), we do not suggest that the real owners of those names composed these spams. Signing yourself John Doe does not make you John Doe. As for the other names, perhaps the Lads pick them from a phone book, or perhaps they are variations on each Lad's real name, coded to help recall its place in the nefarious marketing campaign, e.g., idrisbello2001@abusedisp.com. We need to go back and add a lot more names from the 800+ letters in the queue. Meanwhile, remember, just because the name on the letter you received doesn't match any of these doesn't make it more credible.
