from the sale of petroleum and its allied products,as a result of
domestic increase in pump price of petroleum products..
Consequently, the estimated annual revenue for 1998
was 47billion USDollars. Members of my panel and I
over shot this target by 378 million USD by Nov 11 1998. We have
declared the sum of 47.360 Billion U.S.D to the Federal Military
Government of Nigeria with-holding the balance of 18 Million U.S.D.
reference 115 Unit 3d, paragraph "F" of the Auditor General of the
Federal Republic of Nigeria's report 1998 on Federal Republic of
Nigeria Estimated Revenue.
Because of the existing domestic laws forebiding Civil Servants from
opening, operating and maintaining foreign accounts, we do not have the
expertise to transfer this balance of funds into a foreign
account.Moreover this balance of 18 Million U.S.D has been secured in
form of credit/payment to a foreign contractor.If you maintain a
corporate/personal offshore account, could you please furnish me with
your bank details including your personal telephone/fax numbers where I
can always reach you.We have also arrived at a conclusion that you will
be compensated to the tune of 25% of the total sum of money
transfered into your account while 5% will be reserved for incidental
