Dear Friend,

I am,DR PAUL MABUZA,the Chief Accountant African Development Bank South Africa.I got your address while searching for trustworthy individuals in various countries. ln my department,we discovered an abandoned sum of $25,5million US dollars in an account that belongs to one of our foreign customers who died in an auto accident with his family in South Africa.

Since we got information about his death,we have been expecting his next of kin to come to our bank and claim his money because we cannot release it unless somebody applies for it as a next of kin or relative to the deceased as indicated in our banking guidelines but unfortunately we learnt that all his supposed relatives died in a plane crash leaving no relative behind to claim the fund.It is upon this discovery that l and other officials in my department decided to make this business proposal to you and release the money to you as the next of kin or relative to the deceased for safety and subsequent disbursement since nobody is coming for it and we do not want this money to go into our bank treasury as an unclaimed fund. The banking law and guidelines here stipulate that if such money remained unclaimed after four years, the money will be transfered into the bank treasury as unclaimed funds. The request for a foreigner as a relative for this claim is occasioned by the fact that the customer was a foreigner and a South African cannot claim this fund as next of kin. We agreed that 20% of this money will go to the foreign partner who will supply the foreign account,5% will be set aside for expenses incurred during the transaction and 75% will be for me and my colleagues.Thereafter,l and my colleagues will visit your country for disbursement of the percentages as indicated above. If you are interested to assist in this transaction, kindly contact the writer on the above mobile number or private e-mail address. Please this transaction is risk free and you should not entertain any atom of fear as all required arrangements have been made for transfer.

Yours Faithfully,

DR PAUL MABUZA

Dear Mr Mabuza

Many thanks for your exciting offer, though I am very surprised how you knew how to approach me! As it happens I am looking for investment capital at the moment to underwrite a theatrical production which is pending and this, if it works, might be the ideal opportunity.

If you are serious please let me have more details and either myself or my assistant Leo Bloom will be back in contact.

Dear Dr Mabooza

I will do this at once. I really hope that this additional finance can be secured. We urgently need new costumes for the big dance number and military uniforms can be very expensive.

Are a you a thespian by any chance? I could secure you a walk on part by way of thanks if you are in London.

Try and make these documents available to me.

For my legal fees, as a African Development Bank accredited attorney and the nature of my legal service to you,for assisting you in claiming your inheritance money,i will need a deposit of my legal charges.

Have you had any further thoughts about a walk on part in my play? Also, out of professional curiosity can I ask - do you have a good singing voice?

Dear Mr Mabuza

Many thanks for these certificates, and I am very impressed by the businesslike manner with which this is being handled. Sorry about the mix up. Are you sure that you dialled the right number? I was here all day and heard nothing. Perhaps you should try again.

I am pressing ahead with the new production on the basis of the projected profit from our little enterprise. Casting the lead has been a real difficulty but now with the re finance virtually in hand we have persuaded a big UK star, Keith Chegwin, to take on the demanding title role, an acceptance which means we need look no fuhrer.

In any case sorry for this rambling, I will send the documents asked soon. Please let me know what happens next as soon as possible.

Dear Dr Mabuza

I must admit that I am at a loss to explain how you fail to contact me. Are you entirely serious in this matter? It is not child's play, my friend.

Has the lawyer got what he deserves yet?

Would you and your wives be interested in a couple of front row seats for the premiere by the way? You would need a collar and tie however.

Yes that has been done I believe, by Mr Leopold Bloom, my assistant. If it has not arrived let me know and I will ask him to resend. I hope this is alright.

Have you ever been to the UK by the way? Speaking for myself, I love travel. I am planning a holiday in the Rhineland in March to tie in with a militaria convention I hope to attend there ( a hobby of mine). So it is certainly be springtime for Hitler research and Germany, I can tell you.
