Billed as a full-service oil production company. The word Zinos did not appear on the page, or in the source. Hmmm. Next another link led to a more blatantly jingoistic version of the same letter, at of all places, the IETF, where the poor guys got spammed by a Lad. It began "NOTICE DO NOT REGARD THIS LETTER AS A SCAM LETTER FROM AFRICA, THANKS" and was signed "Managing Director, Zinos Oil Multi-National Corporation, www.zinosoil.8m.com" "www.zinosoil.8m.com" proved to be a "file not found" at Freeservers. The last link we bothered to look at was at "Sinoleads", where it too led to nothing, and a search there on "Zinos" produced nothing. Zinos... Sino... hmmm ? Well, anyway, the Lads seem to be setting up fake companies (see the Perez letters). Remember, anyone can set up a web site, make up some stationery and be in business! Heck, it worked for us! |
