Scam o Rama 93

trustworthy businessman-qualities which are hard to find ( Mr. Paul Onyema, p.h.d Holder )

This Lad Letter marks the debut of the probably mythical Mr. Fuji Kashimoto. In some earlier letters (I almost hope you have better things to do than wade through this corpulent corpus), Lads complained bitterly of the treachery of one probably mythical Patrice Miller of New York City, who abused their naive trust and vanished with 'their' 'money' (it's best to put everything they say in quotes). Their faith in human nature shaken, they turn to you for proof that there is good somewhere in the world. Surely you will not stiff them in their well-meaning efforts to stiff their government... (and if you think there's actually money to be stolen, apart from yours, please read the main scam page.

ATT: PRESIDENT/MANAGING DIRECTOR

Dear Sir,

May I begin by congratulating you for being such a transparent, honest and trustworthy businessman-qualities which are hard to find in businessmen these days, worldwide. Your articulate, ingenuity, expertise in the field of accounting with investments, management of huge financial resources with years of track record based on intergrity and wealthy experience is really encouraging, hence, this letter to you. I got this information about you from the Foreign Office of your consulate (Embassy) business section in Nigeria in my quest to get an honest and trustworthy fellow for a business transaction internationally.

May I also introduced myself, I am Mr. Paul Onyema, a Director in N.L.N.G. PLC, married and p.h.d Holder in Business and Pubic Administration at Ahmadu Bello University Zaria. Currently we have a total amount of $45,000,000.00 (Fourty five Million U.S.A Dollars only). Which we want to transfer to a foreign bank account for safe keeping, possible personal use and investment options with special interest in stocks and real estates specifically in your country but unfortunately as civil servant in Nigeria, we are not allowed to have foreign bank accounts or travel out of the country at our desired time hence I source for a reliable God fearing foreign partner who will assist me receive this money and invest it as I are not conversant with western cultures.

This money in question was as a result of a deliberate over-valued contract sum of construction project in multi-billion dollar Nigeria Government Liquefied gas investment in N.L.N.G plant. The Original Job contractors (TECHNT LTD), an Argentine Oil/Gas Service Company has collected their exact contract value leaving the over-valued sum which is meant for my own personal use. The money if transferred to your bank account will be split in the following ways: 70% for me, 20% for you and he remaining 10% will be for contingency expenses. Note that this transaction is 100% risk free, as I am a top and well place Government official in Nigeria Oil and Gas Industry and that the whole exercise will be concluded within 2 weeks of your response. I will highlight you more in the business if I get a positive response from you on your willingness and capability of receiving the funds in your accounts without problems.

It may interest you to know that in early 1998, a similar transaction of this nature was done with one Mr. Fuji Kashimot, an expatriate English trained Engineer from Japan whom I met in Nigeria during the construction project in N.L.N.G with telephone number: 81-909-258-5810. The sad story about Mr. Kashimoto is that he confiscated (seized) the whole money (USD$32 Million) when it got to his account in March 1998 due to the ill-advice from his friends he consulted while trying to invest my own money. All frantic phone calls and pleas for him to change his mind till date was fruitless. This traumatic experience with Mr. Kashimoto is still very fresh in my memory. Hence, for this sad experience I demand absolute Confidentiality and Secrecy from you in this transaction as I am are very careful on whom we do business with internationally. I sincerely hope that history will not repeat itself in your own case based on the very good piece of information I gathered about you and your company from the journal at your embassy business section, since the transaction is wholly anchored on trust. Bye as I expected your quick response through the above address.

Yours truly,
Mr. Paul Onyema.

That's a funny one, but he stood, as Isaac Newton said (tho' not of him), on the shoulders of giants:
